Instead of asking for your money we are asking you to donate something from your wardrobe it can be clothes, shoes, accessories, it has to be high end high st, designer or vintage (example of labels below). You might be having a clear out or you might have one thing that you just never wear. Instead of leaving it in the back of your wardrobe why not donate it to us and we can use it to help support the community.
Its about fashion with a conscience - become an SOS fashionista and donate your style to us.
Whilst Surrey is renowned for being affluent and one of the best places to live in the UK, the picture for many living locally is very different. There are many pockets of startling deprivation. Did you know that 32% of children living within a particular area of Esher are affected by child poverty? This is why all the money raised from our two day event will be going to help disadvantaged families living within a 5 mile radius of Cobham. The Fashion for Good Fund will be managed by charitable trust, the Community Foundation for Surrey, and will distribute vital grants to inspiring projects working to help those in need locally.
We are selling the clothes to raise funds - we are having a 2 day event, a glamourous catwalk show where we will auction off the best pieces, provide entertainment, and raise more funds. The day after we will sell all the items in a designer jumble sale to all of the fashionable people in Surrey.
